Heather was raised in Central Alberta and danced at a couple well known studios in the Red Deer area growing up. She had great teaching opportunities with some local studios but decided she wanted to own her own studio. So in 2003 she opened her own studio in Blackfalds, Alberta and then 8 years later opened a second location in Lacombe. Between the two studios Heather has over 600 students that attend, and many employees she has to manage. Heather is an ADAPT trained dancer specializing in Tap and Jazz. She has completed the three year ADAPT Teachers program and is a certified ADAPT instructor. She has also obtained her level 1 and 2 Acro Dance certification. Heather teaches Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, preschool and Musical Theatre at her studios. She has received many top awards for her groups including Choreography awards at the Grand Championship level. She has also had the opportunity to do choreography for various cheerleading squads, Flash mobs, Z99 Haunted House, Figure skating, drama clubs and recently got to be a part of a CMT music video for Gord Bamford as well as choreograph his 2012/2013 tour. Heather loves all that the dance world offers and has been all over Canada and the US attending workshops to further her dance knowledge. Heather is very upbeat and positive and looks forward to adjudicating at more festivals this year
