Born and raised in Central Alberta Maici graduated from Red Deer Polytechnic in 2017 with her diploma in Early Childhood development and Education. She has always had a passion for educating children using nature, music, literature and art to nourish the whole child while allowing them to have equal say in what they learn (also known as the SPICE-M method). She has years of work experience working in a variety of educational and child care settings such as: Red Deer public school district, Red Deer childcare society, Kids Connection Day care, Catholic social services and of course homeschooling her own school age children. Her experience working with children ages 1-10 in different educational and care settings has made her an advocate for children’s mental and spiritual health as well as a frequent advocate for children with neurodivergence. She is so excited to help grow the Fine Arts Club program and encourage your children to learn and discover themselves through art, music, and of course play.
